Molding Geniuses

Mahem was begging for M&Ms left over from our recent trip to Philly, so what better way to encourage her to do some sorting and pattern making than with CANDY!  She enjoyed her candy and mommy got in some learning at the same time.  Score for both! The sorting activity was courtesy of Confessions of a Homeschooler.  www.confessionsofahomeschooler.com

The girls had lots of fun playing dress up, but mostly enjoyed their hats.  Moose started the action early in the morning after finding her hat and dancing around to our morning music.  Doesn't take much for Mahem to jump in and go along with some fun!

Apples, apples, apples.....fall is in the air and we had lots of fun with apples.  Apple bag creations, fingerprint apples, tasting apples (which surprisingly neither girl liked).

 Moose learns to color.
Mommy tried to convince Daddy to buy an arts and crafts/learning table for Mahem in order to keep Moose away from the "mess" now that she is mobile.  Daddy suggested having Moose participate as well instead of keeping her away.  He doesn't understand how yummy crayons are to a one year old.  Oh well....the suggestion has been followed and Moose is actually catching on to the crafty kid scene.  Who knew?
